It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's a time to gather with friends and family, and a time of numerous opportunities to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those you encounter on the journey. Being a ministry for women, we realize full well that this can also be your most stressful time of year. More often than not, it's women who decorate, plan parties, entertain guests, bake cookies, buy gifts, wrap gifts, and come January - return gifts and put away all the stuff. To encourage you on your journey, Women's Journey of Faith is highlighting a book and curriculum from Lisa Bevere called Nurture. Available here, we encourage you to order the book for yourself, or host a small group study in your home or church in the new year!

"Nurture will position women of all ages for purpose and destiny while bringing healing and restoration. Lisa's authenticity, humor, transparency and passion for the Word come alive in this powerful book!"
Darlene Zschech, worship leader Hillsong Church, Sydney Australia

Beginning in January, keep an eye on our facebook group and blogs, as we will be posting more information on this study. Until then, remember that the nurture and care of your spirit should be your first priority as you seek to serve others this Christmas season. We do this by having childlike faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and resting in the care of our heavenly Father.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Flawless
Conference Recap:

It was a joy to host our tenth annual conference in Saskatoon, and branch out into another city this year as well!

Christmas is a time for giving:

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

WJOF thanks all those who give of their time and resources, and commits to praying for this ministry. We appreciate your prayers as we are in prayer mode for the coming year, discerning where God would have us focus our efforts in relation to the vision He has confirmed in our hearts: "The Restoration through Gathering, Nurturing, Discovering...Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ!"

As mentioned at the Flawless conference, WJOF attained charitable status this fall. This means that any financial donation to the ministry of $15 or more will now receive a tax receipt. During the Christmas season, would you prayerfully consider if the Holy Spirit is asking you to join us in our efforts by donating financially? Any donation - large or small - is greatly appreciated. We want to be good stewards of all that is entrusted to us, and we seek to raise funding to fulfill the mission laid before us as we discern the future of WJOF. Donations can be sent to PO Box 24024, Saskatoon, SK S7K 8B4. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@wjof.com and we will be in touch with you.
