I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.” Philemon 1:6

Sharing the Journey is a one day seminar designed to help women reflect on their spiritual path and sharpen their focus and call. Some say it's a mini-retreat where they experience purposeful fellowship with other women and learn from local speakers and ministry leaders throughout the day by attending break out sessions of their choosing.

STJ 2008 was held on March 1st at TCU. "Growing in Confidence" was our theme as the message of Confidence carried over from our flagship event in the fall where 1500 women attended. The morning keynote address was with WJOF Board member Bruce Pringle sharing the message "Where is God When it Hurts"- (Add attachment by "prettying it up a bit and possibly adding the audio message here or linking ot the devotional page) Founder and former director of Christian Counseling services, his years of experience and knowledge of the Word helped us understand those areas that hold us back from walking in God Confidence. Jodi Kozan closed the day with her message "Enjoy the Journey", focusing on the premise that the Joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). By resting in God's joy- we can have the confidence and assurance to step out in those areas we are called to. ( I do have an audio message, but not sure if I will post it online yet) The remainder of the day, the women were given the opportunity to choose 3 break out sessions of their choice:

Local ministries represented at STJ 2008 included:
The Bridge, Real Choices Crises Pregnancy Center, Christian Counseling, Think Life Empowerement Company, Connecting Streams, His Imprint,The Big CookBerean Watchmen Ministry, Elijah House, Praise Moves, and Bible Study Fellowship.
