With a full heart, the Board of Directors of Women’s Journey of Faith would like to advise that Jodi Kozan has submitted her letter of resignation from the board and all WJOF leadership responsibilities. Although Jodi's faith in Jesus Christ is strong and her passion for WJOF's vision of "Restoration" continues to grow, she has expressed a desire to recapture the joy that has faded with carrying too much of the heavy lifting in this ministry.
She conveyed to us the importance of spending more time with her family which includes her husband, their amazing daughters (and extended family as well in both Canada and the USA). 2015 is a transitional time for the Kozan family as Tim and Jodi celebrate 25 years in marriage, Tim is retiring from his career after 30+ years, and their youngest of four daughters is graduating from high school. The girls grew up with WJOF since the vision was first planted in their mom's heart in January 1999 and as a result, this is a huge transition for the entire family.
She also has a deep desire to express more clearly what she has experienced with God's restoring power through her own personal journey and experiences over the years through writing and speaking. In time, she looks forward to exploring more on her journey of faith with furthering her Seminary education, travelling and embarking on other service opportunities. No matter where the journey takes her, Jodi reiterated to us that she will cherish the memories and impact WJOF has had since its inception and into the future.
We are so thankful for all Jodi has done in creating and growing this ministry. Her vision, passion and countless hours of service have brought WJOF to where it is today. We are honored she has entrusted this ministry into our hands to engage many capable women to share the load Jodi has carried these past 15 years. We as a board want to support her on this exciting path. One way we will do this is to help finance the publishing of her first book. Jodi is the founder of WJOF and it is our heartfelt desire to pay tribute to her for her years of service to the Lord and look forward to how God will bring increase to Jodi as well as to the WJOF organization through this act of faith and obedience.
We are asking you to please join with us as we pray for God to increase His goodness around Jodi, her family and her future success.
